A LITTLE HELP GOES A LONG WAY
Let’s get you
unstuck.
Quick answers for installing, exporting and sharing.
START HERE
Three steps to install.
- Choose your file.Use Add XAPK or open a local package from your file manager.
- Review the package.Check the app name, version and contents. Allow installation from this source when Android asks.
- Confirm with Android.Keep the app open while it prepares files, then follow the system prompt.
Common questions
Which package formats are supported?
APK, XAPK, unencrypted APKM and APKS containing one set of split APKs. Bundletool archives containing multiple variants and encrypted APKM files are not supported.
Why did installation fail?
Read the reason shown in the app first. Common causes include an incomplete download, insufficient space, incompatible Android or processor requirements, a signature conflict with an installed app, or a blocked downgrade. The app cannot bypass Android’s signature checks.
Check the package source and available space. Do not uninstall an existing app just to try again unless you understand that its local data may be lost.
What do I do with OBB game data?
For a supported package, choose Install game. The app checks the OBB files and attempts to place them before requesting installation. If the destination is restricted, follow the transfer instructions and export the folder for manual transfer, for example using a computer.
Keep the structure Android/obb/package.name/ and the original OBB filenames. Exporting does not mean the files have reached the game’s required directory. Installing only the app may leave the game unable to start. Do not overwrite existing game files without a backup.
My Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO device blocks installation.
First check the error and allow installation from this source. Some MIUI versions have additional restrictions; follow the version-specific compatibility guidance shown by XAPK Installer. System optimization settings differ across MIUI and HyperOS releases. Changing them can affect permissions or appearance, so do not disable them as a general first step.
What is included in an exported app?
An APK, or an XAPK containing the installed split APKs accessible on this device. Private app data, accounts, game saves and OBB files are not included in installed-app exports. A device-specific package may not work on another device.
How do I copy information or save an icon?
In an installed app’s details, tap the package name to copy it, or tap the information card to copy the whole card. Tap the app icon to choose a PNG size, then save or share it. These icon actions are also available on the installation review page when the icon can be read.
Available sizes: 48, 72, 96, 144, 192, 512 and 1024 pixels. Enlarging a low-resolution icon does not add detail.
Can I use it without an internet connection?
Yes. The current app processes local packages without an account or internet connection. You obtain packages separately. A cloud file provider or an app you choose for sharing may need its own connection.
How do I remove stored information?
Remove scanning folders in the app to stop using those grants, or manage permissions and clear cache or app storage in Android settings. Exported files and OBB files in shared storage must be managed separately. See the privacy policy.
